For the first time in the history of BACHS did
not receive AYP for the 2010-11 school year.
This was due to graduation rate and low
scores in Math from 2009-2010. This places
us on Phase I of School Improvement. We
are working very closely with the Michigan
Department of Education to provide
additional training to our staff and make
changes in our curriculum to avoid
progressing further in the AYP structure. As
part of the mandates we are at this time
required to allow students to transfer to other
area programs or schools. These schools
may be able to proved another educational
track for your student. If your are interested
in changing school or would like addtional

Progress Report box above and you will find
the notification letter we sent during the
summer, comparison data of other schools,
and a school choice transfer form. Should
