Child Care Center at Community High School provides loving, quality care for the children of the teen parents who attend the high school. Up to 12 infants and toddlers, ranging in age from 4 weeks to 2 ½ years, can be cared for at any one time. There are two closed circuit cameras in the child care center and a video monitor in the hallway with a continual live display. Students who use the center can rest assured that their children are safe and secure. The state licensed child care center is staffed by four experienced, well trained caregivers and is open from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. each school day. Each child is assigned to a primary caregiver who coordinates the baby’s care each day. The child care staff offers a “Together Time Program” for one hour each week that promotes infant/parent activities and interactions.
